As Thanksgiving Day quickly approaches, NewSong is just finishing an amazing fall tour with Bluetree and Chynna & Vaughan. Next week, we will have a few rehearsal days, then time with families before the much-anticipated 19-city Christmas tour with Big Daddy Weave and Francesca Battistelli. Hope you will make plans now to attend a Christmas concert near you! Bring the whole family and that friend who needs to be encouraged with good news! And don’t forget to pray for us as we forge ahead during this busy but rewarding season.
Oh Yeah – don’t forget to request our new single now and after Christmas. It’s called “That’s What Mercy Is” – Eddie Carswell and our good friend Matthew West wrote it. I think you will love it! November 24th is the street date for our new project, Give Yourself Away! Be sure and pick up a copy for yourself. When you do, we will give you a copy to use as an encouragement for a friend.

Russ- WOW! I was so excited to hear your voice greet me when I began listening to the GYA today. Realizing what I hoped was reality (your return to NewSong), I began to “SMILE”. Can’t wait to share the news with my 10yro son, Nate, who anxiously awaits your return to Columbus, OH in February for Winter Jam. Can’t wait to see how God will use you and NewSong this year. I got married in June 07 to my wife Brandy. At our wedding I sang to her your song ” When God made you” I love to sing, I practiced doing karaokee, it was the first time I ever sang in front of anyone before. I lost my job of 18 years a month later, and things spiraled downhill, since then, some things have happened, and it doesnt look good for our marriage
We are trying to work things out, but I am losing hope. We are coming to concert Thursday night ( March 11th ) in Fort Wayne, and I thought it can’t hurt to ask. if you sing that song, i wondered if you would dedicate it to my wife Brandy, my name is Ken
